To provide an outlet to assist in the healing process of the invisible scars left behind from service for US Armed Forces Veterans and the pain experienced from the loss of a parent for Gold Star Children
To utilize photography as a healthy and positive outlet for US Armed Forces Veterans and Gold Star Children from the Vietnam War era
In 2015 Eric Fort founded Lone Warriors with the idea of using an all volunteer force to assist disabled US Armed Forces Veterans with small tasks around the home. He very quickly realized more could be done to make a daily impact on the lives of not only the Veteran but also their family. After several months of brainstorming and research, Operation TheraPic was born.
In 2021 Lone Warriors decided to expand the mission of Operation TheraPic to not only help US Armed Forces Veterans but also include Gold Star Children, specifically from the Vietnam War era. Whether taking pictures themselves or admiring the works of others, Lone Warriors is focused on using photography as a positive outlet to help with the healing process as well as tell the stories of this nations heroes.
